You will serve as a SUPPLY TECHNICIAN (OA) in the G-4 LOGISTICS of MARINE CORPS BASE QUANTICO.
What You'll Do
- →You will perform a variety of technical support duties by maintaining property accounts records, completing individual transactions, providing customer assistance, screening reference files, conducting data searches, and distributing output files.
- →You will type letters, reports, tabulated material, memoranda, and other related documentation in either rough draft or final form.
- →You will use databases or spreadsheets software to enter, revise, sort, or calculate and retrieve data for standard reports.
- →You will type required items, ensuring correct grammar, spelling, and format.
- →You will use graphic software to provide graphic symbols, charts, and graphs for viewgraphs or paper presentations.
Requirements
- ✓Substitution of Education: Applicants may substitute education for the required experience.
- ✓To qualify based on education for this grade level you must have successfully completed 4 years above high school in any field for which high school graduation or the equivalent is the normal prerequisite.
- ✓This education was obtained in an accredited business, secretarial or technical school, junior college, college or university.
- ✓OR Combination of Specialized Experience and Education: Applicants may also combine education and experience to qualify at this level.
- ✓You must have a combination of specialized experience and education beyond high school education as described above that demonstrates your ability to perform the duties of this position.
- ✓For the GS-05, only education in excess of 60 semester hours (2 years) is creditable.
