About the Position: This position is with the U.S. Army Transportation Command, 833d U.S. Army Transportation Battalion, located at Joint Base Lewis-McChord, WA.
What You'll Do
- →Maintains accountability for property using Property Book Unit Supply Enhanced (PBUSE) and hand receipts.
- →Conducts reconciliations with the Supply Support Activity (SSA) to validate the document register.
- →Reviews requirements to ensure requested equipment is authorized on the Table of Distribution and Allowances (TDA).
- →Executes requests for lateral transfers received from the Property Book Officer.
- →Monitors the requisition, storage, and distribution of supplies and property book items.
- →Manages the Government Purchase Card (GPC) program, including reconciling monthly statements.
- →Utilizes various software and hardware (word processing, databases, email, scanners) to accomplish tasks.
- →Coordinates with the contracting office to develop alternative sources of supply.
- →Answers telephone calls and receives visitors, supplying general information as authorized.
