About the position: This position is Non-Appropriated Fund (NAF) and will be assigned to the Resource Management Flight on JBER, AK. Regular Full-Time employees have a regular and continuous work schedule of at least 35 hours per week to a maximum of 40 hours per week. What You'll Do
- →Works with program managers to annually conduct property inventories at NAFI programs.
- →Act as the focal point for the inventory control, management, and disposition of inventory accessible to Squadron personnel.
- →Examines items received; notes overages, shortages, or any damage incurred in shipping.
- →Prepares forms as required.
- →Performs, documents and tracks OSHA, fire, safety and facility inspections according to applicable directives and policies.
- →Ensures Safety Data Sheets (SDS) are maintained on all chemical solutions stocked.
- →Performs pickup and delivery of supplies, amenities, and property items at scheduled intervals to work centers.
- →Maintains a government purchase card for the purpose of purchasing vehicle parts and supplies.
- →Maintain and operate forklifts.
- →Conducts vehicle training to include forklifts as needed for Squadron personnel.
- →Operate warehouse type equipment to include pallet jacks, dollies, banding equipment, power and air tools.
- →Salvage and/or repair broken property items according to applicable directives and policies.
- →Ensures physical safeguards, cleanliness, and safety standards are maintained within Logistics operations.
- →Performs other related duties as assigned.
