About the Position: This position is located at Fort Riley, Kansas This is a Direct Hire Solicitation Salary negotiation may be available for those candidates who are new to Federal service. Non-Federal work experience may be creditable for leave purposes.
What You'll Do
- →Maintain an adequate inventory of logistical items for continuous operation.
- →Initiate, update, and post all supply transactions to the database supply program.
- →Review stock levels continually to assess trends that may require altering the established stockage levels to ensure excess accumulation does not occur.
- →Research outside sources for logistical needs and to obtain value without jeopardizing quality or service.
- →Initiate standing order contracting request and survey/compliance agreements through prescribed channels.
- →Receive , issue , and store supplies and equipment to support the logistical operations of the department.
- →Support department by coordinating facility repair and inventory orders.
