What You'll Do
- →Provides services and resolves issues and procedural problems related to supply, distribution, and transportation operations, including Emergency Supply Operations.
- →Handles emergency requisitions requiring special handling, accelerated delivery, and other expediting actions that do not follow established patterns in order to meet customer needs.
- →Coordinates actions with transportation, production, contracted carriers, and other supply units to ensure material departs on time and arrives at the proper destination.
- →Utilizes various logistics information, tracking systems, and automated supply systems to identify trends and recommend solutions.
- →Answers a variety of customer inquiries related to order statuses, damaged or discrepant shipments, special handling requirements, mode of shipment, shelf-life, and stock substitution.
