THIS IS A NATIONAL GUARD TITLE 32 EXCEPTED SERVICE POSITION. This National Guard position is for a SUPPLY TECHNICIAN, Position Description Number D0915000 and is part of the ARMY AVIATION SUPPORT FACILITY 2, National Guard. This vacancy does not meet the criteria for appointment of annuitants.
What You'll Do
- →As a SUPPLY TECHNICIAN (GS-2005-07), you will provide services in support of inventory control, storage and distribution, cataloging or supply identification systems, property utilization, or other related supply activities including those associated with automated or manual supply accounting systems.
- →Manages aviation materials and resource tracking (i.e.
- →Depot Level Repairable (DLR)/Class 9 (CLIX) funds and all other appropriate air and ground budgets), Test Measurement & Diagnostic Equipment (TMDE)/tools management, and Hazardous Material Management.
Requirements
- ✓If only using education to qualify for this position: 1 full year of Graduate Level Education or Superior Academic Achievement or COMBINATION OF EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Applicants may also combine education and experience to qualify at this level.
- ✓You must have a combination of specialized experience and education beyond a four year degree in a related field.
- ✓Graduate Education: Education at the graduate level (above Bachelors Degree) in an accredited college or university.
- ✓Superior academic achievement (S.A.A.) -- This provision covers advanced trainee positions that provide opportunities for advancement upon attaining required job skills and knowledge, require no prior experience, and have work classified at two-grade intervals.
- ✓It recognizes students who have achieved superior academic standing as evidenced by one of the three methods described below.
- ✓In order to be creditable under this provision, superior academic achievement must have been gained in a curriculum that is qualifying for the position to be filled.
- ✓You must provide Official Transcripts as documentation to support your educational claims.
- ✓To receive credit for Education, you must provide documentation of proof that you meet the Education requirements for this position.
