This position is located in the Division of Asset Management (DAM), Office of Management Services (OMS), Rockville, MD. Incumbent has responsibility for all receiving, disposition economical and efficient utilization custody, maintenance and accountability of all personal property (equipment) and the Fleet management program located with the Indian Health Service. A REAL ID will be required beginning May 7, 2025, in accordance with 6 C.F.R. 37.5 (2021).
What You'll Do
- →Ensures the efficient and effective utilization and maintenance of vehicles and equipment.
- →Analyzes and compiles reports and statistical data from systems.
- →Oversees all fleet acquisition and disposal activities and in-use management of the motor vehicles.
- →Develops and administers controls for vehicle and equipment replacement program and additional equipment needs by program and fiscal year.
- →Assists in coordinating, planning, and evaluating a vehicle fleet and equipment management programs on a long-term basis.
- →Participates in regular and recurring meetings with various General Service Administration and Health and Human Services fleet officials Advises, guides and provides direction on the Property Management Information system to Headquarters and Area Offices staff.
- →Coordinates policy, regulations and procedures.
- →Monitors Headquarters and Area Offices personal property physical inventories to ensure they are compiled, reconciles and reported.
- →Manages the program withing the fleet program and vehicle purchases.
- →Serves as a credit cardholder and is legally responsible and accountable for each credit care transaction.
Requirements

- ✓Citizenship is required Selective Service Registration is required for males born after 12/31/1959 This is a designated position covered by Public Law 101-630, requiring contact or control over Indian children.
