As the Supply and Equipment Management Officer (SEMO) responsible for managing/controlling MSFC's property management program including institutional, expendable, supply storage, warehouse facilities, and industrial property assets furnished on MSFC contracts.
What You'll Do
- →Develops and implements a broad range of supply and property projects and programs including originating new supply and equipment management techniques, establishing criteria, developing new information and approaches to problems solutions.
- →Responsible for acquisition/storage/issuance of expendable supplies/materials inventory with recurring use stock in general categories of laboratory, facilities operations, maintenance and administrative supplies.
- →Ensures that policies and procedures pertaining to property administration, which are established and directed by NASA Headquarters, MSFC, and MSFC Michoud Assembly Facility are strictly followed.
- →Manages installation property, plant, and equipment accountability systems.
- →Coordinates operational procedures implemented to ensure maximum supply, management, and logistics efficiency and effectiveness.
