About the Position: This position is located at Fort Bliss Texas. Position may be filled as a time-limited promotion, reassignment or change to lower grade not to exceed (NTE) 5 Years by a current permanent Army employee. Extensions may be possible in accordance with guidance on the job announcement.
What You'll Do
- →Plans , directs, and supervises mission-essential functions in connection with operation of the Training Support Center Aviation Flight Simulator Compound carried out by subordinate employees and key personnel.
- →Maintains quality Assurance of flight simulator Instrument Operator (IO) standardization and compliance with established IO regulations/guidelines Responsible for instructor development in the subject matter of professional aviation procedures and techniques.
- →Continuously monitors and proposes the update of curricula, and evaluates formal and informal classroom instruction to include undergraduate, graduate, and advanced training for aviators.
- →Instructs and/or oversees the instruction of military pilots and instructor pilots in the operation of single or multi-engine rotary wing aircraft Establish performance requirements for subordinates and rates their performance.
