The primary purpose of this position is to serve as the Material Acquisition Element Chief, providing analytical support, technical expertise, and first-line supervision in the ordering, stocking, and maintenance of equipment, parts, and supplies.
What You'll Do
- →Exercises supervisory personnel management responsibilities at least 25% of the time.
- →Plans work to be accomplished by subordinates, sets and adjusts short/long-term priorities, and prepares schedules for completion of work.
- →Determines stock levels for recurring and non-recurring items based on usage, project demands, and funding limitations.
- →Performs and manages all vehicle operations for the unit as the primary Vehicle Control Officer (VCO).
- →Provides direct assistance to customers and other organizations on supply problems and issues, maintaining effective working relationships to ensure the timely handling of special requests.
