About the Role
This position is located in the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO), Office of the Chief Administrative Officer (OCAO), Office of Administrative Services (OAS), Security and Emergency Management Division. The incumbent performs duties and responsibilities to manage USPTO securityprograms and is the second-most senior official for security for the agency.
What You'll Do
- →The physical worksite for this position is located in Alexandria, Virginia.
- →Presence at the Alexandria, VA campus is required for this role, as it includes on site functions that must be performed in person.
- →Position may be eligible for situational telework in accordance with agency policy/business unit discretion.
- →The agency currently allows for 52 hours of telework per calendar year.

- →Have experience assisting with oversight and management of a comprehensive Physical Security Program which includes oversight over the USPTO campus and three regional offices and the electronic Physical Access Control System and an armed protective security officer contract force.
