What You'll Do
- →WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING DAY TO DAY As a Supervisory Research Microbiologist, you will use your knowledge and experience to optimize business results and customer experience by: Conceiving and directing major, multi-phase basic and applied research in a microbiological specialty area.
- →Reviewing experimental protocols, advising on the operational aspects of the studies and managing the review, appraisal and interpretation of final experimental results.
- →Developing new and innovative research methods to attack highly complex fundamental issues.
- →Evaluating extramural research projects and recommending revisions, continuations or terminations as necessary.
- →Preparing publications and presentations and representing the agency on scientific committees.
