What You'll Do
- →Supervises a group of employees performing work up to the PG-13 level comprised of Quality Control Officers, Lead Quality Assurance Specialists, and Document Inspections.
- →Provides administrative and technical supervision and performs the full range of administrative and human resource management functions relative to the staff supervised, including interviewing, hiring, training, and performance evaluation.
- →Conducts statistical analyses and studies on inspection and test results to determine quality trends, discrepancies, and control limits for processes and work types.
- →Confers and collaborates with senior managers in planning and developing Government Secure and Intelligent Documents' quality assurance plans, conducts studies, performs analysis and implements corrective actions.
- →Reads, interprets, and applies technical data such as blueprints, engineering drawings, product specifications, and technical manuals.
Requirements
- ✓Substitution of education in lieu of specialized experience may be used or this grade level.
- ✓Undergraduate and Graduate Education: Major study -- quality assurance, statistics, mathematics, production management, industrial management, computer science, engineering, engineering technology, physical sciences, textiles, or other fields related to the position.

- ✓GRADUATE EDUCATION: One academic year of graduate education is considered to be the number of credits hours your graduate school has determined to represent one academic year of full-time study.
- ✓Such study may have been performed on a full-time or part-time basis.
- ✓If you cannot obtain your graduate school's definition of one year of graduate study, 18 semester hours (or 27 quarter hours) should be considered as satisfying the requirement for one year of full-time graduate study.
