As a Supervisory Management and Program Analyst, you will analyze major administrative aspects of substantive mission-oriented programs and improve productivity and increase the quality of work directed.

What You'll Do

  • Provide strategic oversight for subordinate supervisors and staff, setting priorities, evaluating performance, and guiding the implementation of goals to improve FDNS training programs and related initiatives.
  • Oversee the planning, coordination, and execution of management and program analysis activities related to the development, delivery, and evaluation of foundational, technical, and specialized FDNS training curricula.
  • Ensure effective management of administrative processes and internal controls, including procurement, budget and financial management, human resources, logistics, facilities, and asset management to support the FDNS Training Academy’s mission.
  • Analyze and evaluate training program effectiveness, develop and implement improvements to policies and procedures, and manage the collection and reporting of training metrics and outcomes.
  • Facilitate communication with internal and external stakeholders, including senior FDNS and USCIS officials, other DHS components, and partner agencies, to ensure alignment of training and workforce development initiatives.

  • Residency Requirement: There is a residency requirement for all applicants not currently employed by U.S.
  • Citizenship and Immigration Services.
  • This residency requirement states that candidates must have, for three of the last five years immediately prior to applying for this position; (1) resided in the United States; OR (2) worked for the United States Government as an employee overseas in a Federal or Military capacity, OR (3) been a dependent of a U.S.
  • Federal or Military employee serving overseas.
  • Supervisory/Managerial Probationary Period: You may be required to serve a twelve-month probationary period upon appointment to this position.
  • You may also be required to complete an appropriate supervisory training course within one year of assignment to this position.
  • EDUCATIONAL SUBSTITUTION: There is no educational substitution at this grade level.
  • FDNS systematically identifies updates, and records indicators of fraudulent activities; manages fraud cases; identifies vulnerabilities and other weaknesses that compromise the integrity of the legal immigration system; and coordinates and provides logistical support in law enforcement and national security matters.
  • FDNS is the primary conduit for information sharing and collaboration with law enforcement and intelligence agencies.
