  • →As a Housing Program Technical Specialist, you will: Serve as a Housing Specialist and is responsible for developing, coordinating and overseeing multimedia and print marketing/education campaigns as mandated by Public Law (PL) 111-203.
  • →Develop, initiate, monitor and evaluates special marketing campaigns to promote housing counseling services.
  • →Conduct special studies, research and surveys for the purpose of improving the efficiency, economy, and effectiveness of the outreach and education programs in meeting Office of Housing Counseling and Departmental objectives.
  • →Initiate and provide technical advice, guidance and interpretation of policies and procedures on Housing Counseling programs to HUD staff and members of the general public.
  • →Contribute to grant and certification criteria in response to policy priorities, program effectiveness, counseling needs and results of oversight reviews.

Requirements

  • ✓Must successfully complete a background investigation.
  • ✓Complete a Declaration for Federal Employment to determine your suitability for Federal employment, at the time requested by the agency.
  • ✓Have your salary sent to a financial institution of your choice by Direct Deposit/Electronic Funds Transfer.
  • ✓If you are a male applicant born after December 31, 1959, certify that you have registered with the Selective Service System or are exempt from having to do so.
  • ✓Go through a Personal Identity Verification (PIV) process that requires two forms of identification from the Form i-9.
