About the Role

This vacancy is for a Supervisory International Trade Compliance Analyst in the International Trade Administration within the Department of Commerce.

What You'll Do

  • As a Supervisory International Trade Compliance Analyst, you will perform the following duties: Direct a complex, professional, administrative function of a sensitive and highly visible nature, which supports the implementation and enforcement of the AD/CVD laws and other international trade programs and activities.
  • Identify issues, develop approaches, and solve or support management in resolving critical trade policy issues.
  • Oversee the Enforcement Group in E&C's AD/CVD Operations unit that administers the antidumping and countervailing duty laws, regulations and programs.
  • Communicate and present AD/CVD related and other complex issues, both orally and in writing; providing background and recommendation for action to senior officials.
  • This Job Opportunity Announcement may be used to fill other Supervisory International Trade Compliance Analyst GS-1801-14, positions within the Department of Commerce in the same geographical location or local commuting area with the same qualifications and specialized experience.

Requirements

  • You must be a U.S. citizen to apply for this position.
  • This position requires a SECRET CLEARANCE: Any required investigations and clearances must be completed before the selectee can be placed in the position.

  • You MUST provide a copy of the letter containing the results of the equivalency evaluation with a course by course listing along with your application.
