About the Role

Joining the Secret Service, Office of Human Resources, Performance Management and Employee Relations Division, will allow you to advise employees and managers on policy and procedures, including but not limited to awards, leave and absence issues including Family and Medical Leave Act, grievances, and retention incentives. What You'll Do

  • The selectee will serve as a Supervisory Human Resources Specialist in the Office of Human Resources, Performance Management and Employee Relations Division.
  • Typical work assignments include: Serving as a subject matter expert on complex Employee Relations and Performance Management programs by conducting policy reviews to assess the effectiveness of existing policies and best practices.
  • Providing supervisory leadership by identifying systematic barriers to employee engagement and career development, and directing the implementation of standardized workforce development strategies, policies, and practices that support organizational goals and employee growth.
  • Collaborating with senior leadership to establish short- and long-term goals by evaluating program needs and recommending strategies to advance the objectives of Employee Relations and Performance Management program functions.
  • Providing advisory services and support to agency stakeholders and field offices on Employee Relations and Performance Management program matters.

Requirements
