The Transportation Security Officer (TSO) Hiring Operations Team manages the end-to-end recruitment and hiring process for entry-level TSOs. The team develops and maintains nationwide TSO hiring business practices to facilitate the implementation of localized strategic staffing solutions at more than 450 federalized airports.
What You'll Do
- →This Human Resources Specialist position is located within Human Capital (HC) Talent Management (TM), Transportation Security Administration (TSA), Department of Homeland Security (DHS).
- →Duties include but are not limited to: Managing HR programs, subordinate personnel and other resources to meet program objectives and further HC's goal to provide quality HR services to the agency.
- →Develops short-term and long-term plans to accomplish work and manager changes in management directives or available resources.
- →Provides senior level advisory services to personnel at all levels on issues that often have agency-wide impact.
- →Provides authoritative interpretation and instruction on laws, regulations, policies and procedures.
- →Monitors, analyzes and evaluates program execution at subordinate level(s).
- →Conducts policy reviews to evaluate effectiveness of policies and practices.
- →Supervisory/Managerial Probationary Period Requirements: Unless previously completed, you must satisfactorily complete a one-year supervisory probationary period to continue in this supervisory/managerial position.
Requirements
