About the Role
You will serve as a SUPERVISORY HUMAN RESOURCES SPECIALIST (RECRUITMENT & PLACEMENT/CLASSIFICATION/COMPENSATION) in the HUMAN RESOURCES OFFICE HAWAII of COMPACFLT HUMAN RESOURCES OFFICE.
What You'll Do
- →You will serve as the Division Director, providing administrative and technical direction to the Staffing and Recruitment/Classification Branches through subordinate supervisors.
- →You will direct HR functions encompassing Recruitment, Staffing, Position Management, Classification, Compensation, Workforce Shaping.
- →You will exercise full HR management responsibilities, including interviewing and selecting employees for promotion and appointments, recognizing performance with awards, and executing job changes and details.
- →You will develop and manage the division's budget, including salary costs, training requirements, and non-labor expenses.
- →You will exercise prudent position management in duty assignments and position structuring to ensure maximum effectiveness, economy, and the avoidance of unwarranted grade escalation.
- →You will serve as the principal technical and policy advisor for assigned HR functional areas.
- →You will brief all levels of management on essential program aspects, HR capabilities, and the regulatory impacts of reorganizations or special projects.
- →You will direct the development of data collection, data analysis, and quality reviews on civilian personnel programs and organizational issues.
