This position is located in the Department of Health & Human Services (HHS), Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS), Center for Medicare (CM), Provider Communications Group (PCG). As a Supervisory Health Insurance Specialist, GS-0107-15, you will provide executive leadership for the Provider Customer Service Program by directing staff, overseeing Medicare contractors, and advancing national policy and operational priorities.
What You'll Do
- →Leading oversight of the Provider Customer Service Program (PCSP) by developing policies, standards, and performance requirements, and evaluating Medicare Administrative Contractors (MACs) to ensure quality service to Medicare providers.
- →Exercising full supervisory authority over GS-9 through GS-14 staff by assigning work, setting priorities, evaluating performance, coaching employees, and managing personnel and administrative matters.
- →Developing the Division's strategic plan, establishes staffing and budget priorities, sets short- and long-term goals, and advises CMS leadership on budget planning and resource allocation for PCSP activities.
- →Analyzing complex legislation, regulations, and CMS priorities to develop PCSP initiatives and lead implementation efforts, providing policy recommendations and operational guidance to senior CMS leadership.
