You will serve as a SUPERVISORY ENGINEERING TECHNICIAN in the COMBAT SYSTEMS DIVISION, ENGINEERING AND PLANNING DEPARTMENT of PORTSMOUTH NAVAL SHIPYARD.
What You'll Do
- →You will act as a Chief Test Engineer-Weapons (CTE-W) in the Combat Systems Division at the Portsmouth Naval Shipyard.
- →You will develop, direct, schedule and coordinate a test program on the submarines to ensure a thorough test program.
- →You will maintain the day to day progress, conditions and status of testing and report this information to senior shipyard managers.
- →You will assign work to personnel based upon personal ability and special knowledge.
- →You will ensure preparations for and the conduct of the test program meet all technical and safety requirements.
- →You will audit shipboard testing in progress and take action to ensure testing is performed in accordance with approved procedures.
- →You will ensure the timelessness and cost effectiveness of the work performed.
