You will serve as a SUPERVISORY ENGINEERING TECHNICIAN in the Requirements Branch, Facilities Management Division of NAVSTA GREAT LAKES IL.
What You'll Do
- →You will provide technical and administrative supervision, plan and assign work, set priorities, and prepare work completion schedules for a staff of approximately 12 to 14 employees.
- →You will give advice, counsel, or instruction to employees on both work and administrative matters.
- →You will be responsible for providing EEO program support and for taking all actions needed to assure and advance equal opportunity within the incumbent’s area of accountability.
- →You will provide comprehensive management advisory and technical assistance on construction and maintenance projects.
- →You will give general descriptions of requested project, reviews, and assist customers in defining their requirements and meeting them for planning and acquisitions strategy.
- →You will monitor compliance to ensure technical soundness, adequacy, and efficiency in administration and operations of facilities service and construction projects.
- →You will perform price analysis of proposed work and participate in the inspection of ongoing and completed facilities service and construction work.
