About the Position: Directs, supervises and manages emergency services communications operations in the Emergency Communications Center, Fort Sill, OK.
What You'll Do
- →Direct, Supervise and manage emergency services communications operations in the Emergency Communications Center, Fort Sill, OK.
- →Serve as the installation public safety answering point (PSAP) manager.
- →Plan work schedules; revises schedule to meet peak workload periods, and manpower shortages.
- →Write policy/procedure and informs employees of changes in policy and operating procedures.
- →Supervise and direct emergency medical dispatching (EMD) assistance to callers with medical emergencies using the emergency medical dispatch systems of Fort Sill and the municipalities in the local region.
- →Direct and supervise the receipt and effective evaluation of 911 emergency calls by dispatchers, to include installation Fire, Emergency Medical Services, Police, Commercial Intrusion Detection System, and Transmitted Fire alarms
