About the Role
The Bureau of Labor Statistics measures labor market activity, working conditions, price changes, and productivity in the U.S. economy to support public and private decision making. The position is located in the Division of Federal/State Cooperative Programs. This is an interdisciplinary position and may be filled either as an Economist or Statistician (Economics).
What You'll Do
- →Duties include, but are not limited to: Serves as the supervisor of the Division of Federal/State Cooperative Programs, responsible for overseeing and coordinating all regional activities in the Labor Market Information (LMI) and Occupational Safety and Health Statistics (OSHS) programs.
- →Oversees the regional management of the financial aspects of federal/state cooperative agreements.
- →Evaluates and ensures state and regional production of federal/state cooperative program deliverables.
- →Designs and conducts a program of training, technical advice, and consultation to states in the performance of federal/state program activities.
Requirements
