About the Role
This position is located in the Office of Behavioral Intervention (OBI) within CSOSA. OBI oversees a complex array of evidence-based assessments, evaluations, and cognitive behavior interventions, as well as innovative practices, and case management services that collectively are designed to mitigate recidivism risk factors, quickly match offenders to appropriate services, and sustain positive change throughout the offender's supervision lifecycle and continuum of care.
What You'll Do
- →Provides leadership and oversight for staff delivering domestic-violence intervention and cognitive-behavioral programming, ensuring services are delivered consistently, effectively, and in alignment with evidence-based practices.
- →Oversees the facilitation of group interventions for domestic-violence offenders, offering guidance on managing group dynamics, maintaining program fidelity, and engaging participants with varying levels of risk, resistance, and responsivity.
- →Reviews and evaluates case documentation, assessments, and data to ensure accuracy, compliance, and high-quality case management, and identifies opportunities to strengthen service delivery and case outcomes.
- →Coordinates with internal staff, supervision officers, treatment providers, and community partners to support integrated intervention strategies that address offender needs, reduce risk, and enhance victim safety.
- →Supports agency-wide domestic-violence efforts by assisting with program development, staff support, training activities, and outreach initiatives, and by identifying emerging trends or needs affecting intervention practices.
