About the Role
The Supervisory Dental Assistant is responsible for the supervision, administrative management, and direction of dental assistants. The position may be delegated full administrative and professional responsibility for planning and directing the dental assisting activities for the service or equivalent unit at an independent outpatient clinic. The position has full supervisory responsibility over a section of equivalent work unit which requires three or more dental assistants.
What You'll Do
- →The duties of the Supervisory Dental Assistant include but are not limited to: Making work assignments.
- →Monitoring staff dental assistant clinical performance.
- →Conducting performance appraisals.
- →Assisting the Dental Service Line leadership in clinic operations related to policy and performance standards development, equipment requests, and workload analysis.
- →Analyzing clinically appropriate data to effectively optimize quality, performance, and productivity within the section.
- →Coordinating clinical workflow.
- →Listening to and resolving employee complaints and workplace issues.
- →Maintaining efficient flow of patient care.
- →Developing and providing training for staff dental assistants, students and/or trainees.
- →Work Schedule: Monday and Friday 7:00am - 7:30pm, Wednesday 4:00pm - 9:00pm, Thursday 2:00pm - 7:00pm, Saturday 7:30am - 2:00pm; subject to change based on facility needs.

Requirements
