What You'll Do
- →Directs, organizes, coordinates, and integrates the work of Contract Specialists who perform pre-award and post-award contracting functions.
- →Provides guidance to Contract Specialists on acquisition planning, contract solicitation, proposal evaluation, contract negotiation, contract award and contract administration.
- →Performs pre-award and post-award contracting functions utilizing the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), Defense Acquisition Regulations and Supplements, and business and industry practices.
- →Serves as a warranted contracting officer and develops strategies to support, achieve and exceed initiatives that affect DLA operations.
- →Makes recommendations and decisions related to acquisition program planning and evaluation of long range acquisition projects.

- ✓If you cannot obtain your graduate school's definition of one year of graduate study, 18 semester hours (or 27 quarter hours) should be considered as satisfying the requirement for one year of full-time graduate study.
