What You'll Do
- →Collaborates with the Central Office staff in the development of design standards and guidelines and provides technical advice related to construction matters.
- →Collaborates with the Central Office staff in the review of design and construction documents for new construction sites prior to contract advertisement to determine practicability from construction standpoint.
- →Informs contractor of requirements concerning construction scheduling, progress reporting, safety measures, wage and hour law observance and payroll record submittal requirements.
- →Supervises and coordinates activities related to the construction and contract administration for the projects assigned and serves as liaison between Central Office Project Managers, contracting personnel, the various architect/engineers, and contractors as well as other parties involved in the construction projects.
- →These sites are often remote and allow only occasional direct input from the Central Office staff.
- →Reviews and conducts technical analyses of shop drawings and other submittals, payment requests, change order proposals and claims and makes recommendations for approval or other actions.
