You will serve as a SUPERVISOR in the FLEET INSTALATION ENGINEERING & LOGISTICS, 40000 of NAVWARSYSCEN PACIFIC SAN DIEGO CA.
What You'll Do
- →You will supervise and lead professional engineers, technicians, IT specialists, and scientists whose work is scientific and involved with electronic circuits, and circuit elements.
- →You will involve the generation and/or application of theories, principals, practical concepts, processes, and systems related to science of electronics engineering and traditional engineering science disciplines.
- →You will be responsible for electronics engineering research, develop, test, evaluate, operate, maintain, decommission, and/or direct the fabrication, manufacture, and installation of electronic devices.
- →You will manage diverse technologies such as computing, satellite communication systems, and a broad range of productions such as computer systems, programmable logic controls, sensors, magnetic imagining systems, and defense systems.
- →You will implement policies and standard practices, ensure they are being followed by the team, and evaluate completed projects.
Requirements
- ✓Applicants must meet the following basic education requirements of the Office of Personnel Management (OPM) Qualifications Standards Manual: Successful completion of a professional engineering degree.
- ✓Such education must demonstrate the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to do the work of the position.
- ✓OR Current registration as an Engineer Intern (EI), Engineer in Training (EIT), or licensure as a Professional Engineer (PE) by any State, the District of Columbia, Guam, or Puerto Rico.

- ✓OR Successful completion of at least 60 semester hours of courses in the physical, mathematical, and engineering sciences and in engineering that included the courses specified in the basic requirements under paragraph A (above).
- ✓Ordinarily, there should be either an established plan of intensive training to develop professional engineering competence, or several years of prior professional engineering-type experience, e.g., in interdisciplinary positions.
