About the Role
This position is eligible for the Education Debt Reduction Program (EDRP), a student loan payment reimbursement program. You must meet specific individual eligibility requirements in accordance with VHA policy and submit your EDRP application within four months of appointment. Program Approval, award amount (up to $200,000) and eligibility period (one to five years) are determined by the VHA Education Loan Repayment Services program office after complete review of the EDRP application.

- →VA Careers - Psychologist: https://youtube.com/embed/77qHlLw9Xck Total Rewards of a Allied Health Professional The Full Time Permanent Clinical Staff Psychologist is located in the TVHS Mental Health Care Line, Outpatient Mental Health Section.
- →Diagnose mental disorders and conduct psychological and/or cognitive function assessments and neuropsychological screenings.
- →Treat mental disorders through a variety of modalities and provide adjunctive interventions for treatment of medical disorders.
- →Provides a full range of psycho-diagnostic services including assessment and using the most appropriate psychotherapeutic techniques in providing quality care.
- →Performs evaluations for psychodiagnosis, treatment planning and functional evaluations.
- →Provides a full range of therapeutic interventions including individual and group psychotherapy, family therapy, consultation, rehabilitation and psychoeducation.
- →Consults with medical center staff on a wide variety of patient care issues.
- →Staff clinical psychologists may be involved in program evaluation and/or research activities.
- →Provides training and clinical supervision to psychology trainees, psychology technicians and unlicensed psychologists.
- →Provides leadership guidance and consultation to staffs of units to which assigned.
- →Serves as a consultant to other medical center staff and trainees and assist in their formulation of the psychological characteristics and appropriate treatment expectations regarding their patients.
- →May hold faculty appointment at affiliated university.
- →Creates, monitors, and analyzes program monitors and outcome measurements within programs assigned using data-driven quality assurance processes, as assigned.
- →Responsible for timely completion of all clinical charting and documentation required by the Medical Center or healthcare system, as appropriate.
