This is a full-time position with the Office of Information Technology at the Supreme Court of the United States in Washington, D.C. What You'll Do
- →This is a full-time onsite position located in Washington, DC with partial telework option after a probation period and at the discretion of the hiring manager.
- →The Office of Information Technology (OIT) provides the development, operation, maintenance, and support of Information Systems for the Supreme Court of the United States.
- →The position is responsible for design, implementation, day to day operations and optimization of the Courts Network Infrastructure (NI) both at the Court and various geographically diverse remote sites.
- →The Network Infrastructure (NI) includes copper and fiber cable plant, routers, switches, access points, wireless controllers, firewalls, hardware load balancers, circuits, Network Management Systems (NMS), and Content Delivery Networks (CDN).
- →The incumbent will be expected to split their time between operational troubleshooting and engineering projects.
- →The incumbent is expected to quickly react to and resolve problems that may impact the critical functions of the Court.
Requirements
- ✓College degree in the field of engineering, computer science, or a related field preferred; however education can be substituted for years of experience or technical training provided by previous employer.
