You will serve as a Security Specialist in the Fleet Numerical Meteorology and Oceanography Center, Security Department of FLT NUMER OCEANGPHY METEO CTR.
What You'll Do
- →You will be responsible for developing, managing, enforcing, and assessing compliance and effectiveness of policies and procedures for the command’s Personnel Security (PERSEC) and Insider Threat (InT) programs.
- →You will provide guidance and instruction to FNMOC personnel in completing the personnel vetting questionnaires.
- →You will be responding to all requests for information from and liaise with investigative agencies to support integrated vetting, such as DCSA or NCIS.
- →You will lead and/or participate in all required working groups and boards applicable to Integrated Vetting.
- →You will develop, maintain and asses for compliance and effectiveness of the Industrial Security Program in accordance with Industrial Security standards.
- →You will assist in coordinating incoming and outgoing visit access requests for all Security Management Office Codes at FNMOC.
- →You will validate access levels and requirements for all visiting personnel to include on-site contractors and other local commands that access FNMOC facilities regularly.
Requirements
- ✓In lieu of specialized experience, you may qualify with the following education or combination of both education and experience: Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree or 3 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree or LL.M., if related A transcript must be submitted with your application if qualifying using education.
