About the Role
About the position: This position is Non-appropriated Fund (NAF) and will be assigned to Arts and Crafts on Offutt AFB.
What You'll Do
- →Assists customers in placing orders across all sections within the Arts and Crafts Center.
- →Maintains security of all merchandise, equipment and funds assigned to the facility.
- →Provides professional customer service, answers telephone calls and emails, disseminating information to the appropriate section, and assists shop users with craft skills development and work procedures.
- →Assists manager with daily deposits, placing/receiving supply orders, and inventory reports and assists with inventories.
- →Maintains clean, neat, and safe work environment.
- →Operates resale activity.
- →Performs over-the-counter selling of a variety of merchandise which may include but is not limited to novelty gifts, and other miscellaneous items.
- →Performs housekeeping duties in sales and storage areas.
- →Maintains the appropriate cost of goods on all resale items.
- →Provides Quality Customer Service.
- →Positively interacts with all customers (e.g. greets and offers assistance).
- →Resolves customer complaints and problems.
- →Informs flight chief or manager of any major customer problems and concerns.
- →Implements funds control and handling functions.
Requirements
- ✓Some federal jobs allow you to substitute your education for the required experience in order to qualify.
- ✓This position does not allow for education substitution.
- ✓FOREIGN EDUCATION: Education completed in foreign colleges or universities may be used to meet the requirements.
- ✓You must show proof the education credentials have been deemed to be at least equivalent to that gained in conventional U.S. education program.
- ✓It is your responsibility to provide such evidence when applying.
