About the Role
The incumbent will perform support work for Safety, Green Environmental Management System (GEMS), Emergency Management and Facilities Management Service (FMS). Incumbent may be required to work additional hours to conduct training activities, such as fire drills and training classes, for employees working irregular tours.
What You'll Do
- →Duties include but are not limited to: Waste pickups throughout the facility.
- →Battery pickups throughout the facility.
- →Tank inspections (Class B operator training needed).
- →Research for possible recycling changes in vendors for more types of recycling.
- →Assist with annual regulatory requirements (i.e., tank testing, fuel testing, Veeder Roottesting).
- →Assist with training schedule and providing training.
- →Assisting with job hazard assessments.
- →Data entry and organization for respiratory protection.
- →Assist with development and maintaining of Industrial Hygiene programs.
- →Assist with Medical Center Policy/Standard Operating Policies/Reports.
- →Fire extinguisher training.
- →Assist with issuance or basic ergonomic items to employees.
- →Maintain Chemical inventory (every 6 months) and maintain Safety Data Sheets in Safety office.
- →Other duties as assigned.
