You will serve as a RESEARCH PSYCHOLOGIST in the WARFIGHTER PERFORMANCE DIV of NAVSUBMEDRSCHLAB NEW LONDON CT. No PCS costs will be paid
What You'll Do
- →You will carry out research that contributes to the general knowledge in the fields of Industrial/Organizational Psychology, particularly assessment development and validation, training/programmatic evaluation, and work motivation.
- →You will develop programmatic plans for multi-year projects to conduct basic research, applied research, and/or device test and evaluation.
- →You will serve as a Principal/Associate Investigator, carrying out your own research and reporting the findings to the Warfighter Performance Department, project sponsors, and other organizations within the U.S.
- →Navy and the scientific community.
- →You will serve as Project Leader, providing technical direction to other researchers, technicians, and military personnel.
- →You will collaborate with or oversee the work of others in the department.
Requirements
- ✓Applicants must meet the following positive education qualifications requirements of the Office of Personnel Management (OPM) Qualifications Standards Manual: Applicants must possess.
- ✓Degree: Major or equivalent in Psychology.
- ✓FAILURE TO SUBMIT TRANSCRIPTS/ITEMIZED LIST WILL RESULT IN AN INELIGIBLE RATING.
- ✓Education completed in foreign colleges or universities may be used to meet the qualification requirements if the applicant can provide documentation indicating that the foreign education is comparable to that received in an accredited educational institution in the United States.
