What You'll Do
- →PLEASE NOTE, this position is only open to current permanent Richmond, Virginia Veterans Affairs Medical Center employees.

- →The Registered Nurse - Nurse Manager - SCI/D (Spinal Cord Injuries and Disorders) (Unit 1W) is the designated first-line supervisory authority and is responsible and accountable for the operation of their assigned units and provides coverage for other NMs as needed.
- →Responsible and accountable for the direction and supervision of specific orientation, training, development of staff, and evaluation of individual staff performance.
- →Functions as a role model, educator, practitioner, and supervisor providing leadership to the team.
- →Enhances care outcomes by collaborating with members of the interdisciplinary team.
- →Telework: Not Authorized Virtual: This is not a virtual position.

Requirements
- ✓Citizenship; non-citizens may only be appointed when it is not possible to recruit qualified citizens in accordance with VA Policy.
- ✓All applicants tentatively selected for VA employment in a testing designated position are subject to urinalysis to screen for illegal drug use prior to appointment.
- ✓Applicants who refuse to be tested will be denied employment with VA.
