About the Role
This Registered Nurse (Domiciliary Mental Health) position is located in the Nursing Services at the Leeds, MA campus. This position is full-time at 40 hours per week. NOTE: The 2-page Resume requirement does not apply to this position. For more information, refer to Required Documents below.
What You'll Do
- →Duties Include but are not limited to: Responsible and accountable for all elements of the nursing process when providing and/or supervising direct patient care.
- →Assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates care based on age specific components.
- →Assumes responsibility for the coordination of care focused on patient education, self-management, and customer satisfaction throughout the continuum of care.
- →Follows procedures per established policies and guidelines.
- →Influences care outcomes by collaborating with members of the interdisciplinary team.
- →Executes position responsibilities that demonstrate leadership, experience, and creative approaches to management of complex client care.
- →Work Schedule: 03:30 p.m. - Midnight with rotating weekends/holidays/days off and subject to other tours as needed.
- →Telework: Not Available Virtual: This is not a virtual position.
- →This position is covered by a special rate.
- →The salary is based on the grade and step approved for the selected candidate.
- →Veterans' preference does not apply for internal or other current permanent Federal agency employees.

Requirements
- ✓Citizenship; non-citizens may only be appointed when it is not possible to recruit qualified citizens in accordance with VA Policy.
- ✓All applicants tentatively selected for VA employment in a testing designated position are subject to urinalysis to screen for illegal drug use prior to appointment.
- ✓Applicants who refuse to be tested will be denied employment with VA.
- ✓Selective Service Registration is required for males born after 12/31/1959.

- ✓Participation in the seasonal influenza vaccination program is a requirement for all Department of Veterans Affairs Health Care Personnel (HCP).
