Marine Corps Community Services (MCCS) is looking for the best and brightest to join our Team! MCCS is a comprehensive program that supports and enhances the quality of life for Marines, their families, and others in the Marine Corps Community. We offer a team oriented environment comprised of military personnel, civilian employees, contractors and volunteers who keep the organization functioning smoothly and effectively.
What You'll Do
- →Assigned to one or more specialized recreational activities such as Marina/Fishing Pier, Community Activities, ITT Office, Campsites/Cottages, Arts & Crafts, Fitness/Athletics, Golf Course, Skeet Range, Youth Activities, Bowling Center, and Stables.
- →Performs and/or assists in the operation of the recreation activity in accordance with established policies and participant needs.
- →Establishes schedules of events.
- →Applies rules and regulations and supervises assigned youth in indoor and outdoor activities.
- →Sets up gymnasiums and playing fields for sports events.
- →Schedules and conducts tours and field trips.
- →Demonstrates procedures common to the activities and instructs in the use of related equipment.
- →Conducts instructional classes in the recreational area.
- →Helps plan and coordinate details of recreational activities.
- →Maintains related supplies.
- →Assists in planning, scheduling, and publicizing activities to attract and motivate participants.
- →May oversee sale of retail items associated with activities.
- →Ensures adherence to safety rules and regulations.
- →Provides World Class Customer Service with an emphasis on courtesy; assists customers and communicates positively.
