About the Role

This position is located within Morale, Welfare and Recreation Departments, Bowling Center, onboard Naval Air Station, Corpus Christi, TX. The purpose of this position is to serve as the counter control operator.

What You'll Do

  • General (Duties include but are not limited to): The incumbent is responsible for the counter control operations of the Bowling Center, which included the collecting and accounting for all cash and maintains daily records as required.
  • Controls the facility for the use of authorized patrons.
  • Responsible for bowling resale, shoe rental, billiard room, league bowling, control of waiting list and collection of all fees and charges.
  • May be responsible for keeping bulletin boards up to date with league notices and other promotional materials pertaining to the Bowling Lanes and Recreational Services Activities.
  • Keeps bowlers informed of all specials and league events.
  • Handles customer phone inquiries and also those of new patrons.
  • Keeps mechanic informed of any stoppages or failures on related equipment.
  • Ensures the counter control area is kept in a neat and orderly manner at all times.
  • May perform other duties as assigned.
