About the Role
About the position: This position is Non-appropriated Fund (NAF) and will be assigned to the 47th Force Support Squadron, Frame Shop, located at Laughlin AFB in Del Rio, TX. This position is Flexible, guaranteed a minimum of 0 hours but can work up to a maximum of 40 hours per week. May include nights, weekends and holidays. As a flexible employee, you are not eligible for leave or benefits.
What You'll Do
- →Operates the cash register, collects money, makes change and issues receipts.
- →Closes out the cash register, completes required paperwork and submits entire package to supervisor.
- →Uses small equipment within the Frame shop, to include but not limited to the engraving machine and matt cutter.
- →Prepares verbal and written estimates for customers, notifies customer when orders are complete.
- →Calls in requests for framing supplies.
- →Processes returns and credits with suppliers.
- →Provides customer service, answers telephones.
- →Places special orders.
- →Stocks merchandise received.
- →Set up, clean up and assistance with classes and workshops.
- →Performs weekly, monthly, preventative maintenance on shop equipment.
