About the Role
About the position: This position is Non-appropriated Fund (NAF) and is located at the Golf Course on RAF Lakenheath. This position requires shift work to provide coverage on days, evenings, weekends, holidays, or special situations. Scheduled hours will be 0-40 per week with no minimum guarantee. This position is only open to applicants within the "Area of Consideration". Must be in the UK on PCS orders (military or civilian) or you must have a current UK work Visa
What You'll Do
- →Checks in golfers, assigns tee times and maintains proper order of play using the computer tee booking program.
- →Assists in the coordination and conduct of all scheduled tournaments and golf leagues.
- →May assist Golf Course staff in preparing for and running tournaments, clinics and other special events.
- →Assists customers with Pro-Shop purchases, to include advising on and recommending different golf equipment and apparel.
- →Records and maintains daily statistics on number of rounds played, weather conditions and other recordable data through the shop POS system.
- →Issues tee times and provides patrons with information on golf course events and activities.
- →Monitors and observes on course pace of play.
- →Provides rules, information about the course, and offers assistance to golfers as needed or required.
- →Issues cart keys to patrons after verifying payment.
- →Explains course safety rules and regulations to patrons.
- →Cleans rental clubs and returns them to their assigned slot after each use, reporting any damage to management.
- →Issues rental clubs and pull carts after verifying payment.
- →Monitors course activities and reports any infractions or problems to the General Manager or Superintendent.
- →Performs other related duties as assigned.
