About the Role
About the position: This position is Non-appropriated Fund (NAF) and will be assigned to the Eagle Creek Golf Course on Dover Air Force Base. As a FLEX employee, you may work anywhere between 0-40 hours per week, on an as needed basis.
What You'll Do
- →Brings carts from cart storage for rental purposes and places carts in cart storage when carts are finished being rented.
- →Cleans carts, refuel, inventory and verbally reports any damage immediately to a supervisor.
- →Picks up driving range golf balls and buckets when required.
- →Places golf bags which are in club storage onto carts and vice-versa when finished.
- →Required to do spot wipes before placing bag in club storage rack.
- →Takes water, ice, and drinking cups onto golf course for drinking purposes when required.
- →Performs seasonal tasks as required, such as sweeping pavements, cart storage shed, picking up litter, emptying trash cans and vacuuming.
- →In the Pro Shop, checks customer identification, signs out rental equipment, assists customers in selecting merchandise, receives payment and rings up sales of merchandise, green fees, rental fees, etc.
- →Sells beverages/pre-wrapped sandwiches, restock shelves, i.e. soda and beer on course and marshals as needed.
- →Performs other related duties as it pertains to the position.
