You will serve as a QUALITY ASSURANCE SPECIALIST (ELECTRONICS) in the Naval Air Warfare Center, Aircraft Division, (NAWCAD), SE & ALRE Group, Prototype and Manufacturing Division, Quality Assurance Manufacturing & Fleet Support Branch (BL41500) of NAVAIRWARCENADLKE.
What You'll Do
- →You will conduct quality assurance inspections on Aircraft Launch and Recovery Equipment and Support Equipment systems, exercise independent judgment to resolve technical discrepancies, and provide the final product acceptance.
- →You will set up, program, and operate sophisticated inspection equipment, while also maintaining all required personal certifications for precision measuring devices.
- →You will collaborate with engineering and production staff to determine the appropriate disposition of materials that do not meet quality standards.
- →You will conduct product and process audits, analyze the resulting quality data to identify trends, and prepare technical reports recommending corrective actions.
- →You will develop or revise quality checklists and evaluate the effectiveness of procedures for controlling technical drawings and data.
- →You will actively participate in continuous improvement teams to identify and eliminate waste from work processes.
Requirements
- ✓In lieu of specialized experience, you may qualify with the following education or combination of both education and experience: Undergraduate and Graduate Education: Major study -- quality assurance, statistics, mathematics, production management, industrial management, computer science, engineering, engineering technology, physical sciences, textiles, or other fields related to the position.
