About the Role
You will serve as a Purchasing Agent in the Naval Education and Training Command at the NAVAL CONSTRUCTION TRAINING CTR.
What You'll Do
- →You will plan and accomplish procurement assignments in accordance with governing rules and regulations.
- →You will receive, examine, and research authorized purchase requests.
- →You will perform recordkeeping requirements according to government regulations and internal operating procedures.
- →You will purchase supplies, services, and materials through open market procedures and from prescribed or mandatory sources.
- →You will meet with representatives of suppliers to find new sources of supply, discuss new items on the market, and to show need for strict conformance to government terms and conditions.
