About the Position: Serves as a Public Affairs specialist for Headquarters Military Surface Deployment and Distribution Command developing annual, specific public affairs plans and activities to ensure achievement of organizational goals.
What You'll Do
- →Compose written, oral and/or visual information for use by senior leaders to inform the public, stakeholders and/or lawmakers.
- →Develop PA plans and messages for audiences, publics, and stakeholders.
- →Produce written material that effectively conveys information about the organization’s projects or activities.
- →Coordinate release of information to media, individual or group inquiries.
- →Conduct briefings for internal or external audiences to communicate the organization’s projects or programs.
- →Respond to queries from various audiences such as members of state and federal government, interest groups, organizations and/or members of the general public.
