About the Role
This position is eligible for the Education Debt Reduction Program (EDRP), a student loan payment reimbursement program. You must meet specific individual eligibility requirements in accordance with VHA policy and submit your EDRP application within four months of appointment. Program Approval, award amount (up to $200,000) and eligibility period (one to five years) are determined by the VHA Education Loan Repayment Services program office after complete review of the EDRP application.
What You'll Do
- →This position is being filled from multiple vacancy announcements.
- →The incumbent works at the Leeds campus.
- →Major duties include, but are not limited to: Program management responsibilities, which include the operation and management of the Mental Health BHIP teams which provide services at the main campus of the VA Central Western Massachusetts Healthcare System (VA CWM HCS) and the Greenfield CBOC.
- →Responsible for strategic planning to ensure the provision of high-quality services to meet the needs of the Veterans being served, and in the planning, developing, and implementation of goals and objectives consistent with the larger system's strategic plan.
- →Provides outpatient psychological services at the Leeds campus, using the most appropriate psychotherapeutic techniques and providing quality care.
- →Provides supervisory support to the pre-doctoral psychology internship program and the postdoctoral psychology fellowship, both located at this site.
- →Monitors all mental health performance measures as they pertain to mental health services and implements corrective action plans as needed.
- →Provides clinical coverage as needed to any Leeds outpatient mental health program and/or the acute inpatient unit.
- →Other duties as assigned.
- →Work Schedule: Monday-Friday from 8:00am-4:30pm Recruitment Incentive (Sign-on Bonus): Not Authorized.
