About the Role

This position is eligible for the Education Debt Reduction Program (EDRP), a student loan payment reimbursement program. You must meet specific individual eligibility requirements in accordance with VHA policy and submit your EDRP application within four months of appointment. Program Approval, award amount (up to $200,000) and eligibility period (one to five years) are determined by the VHA Education Loan Repayment Services program office after complete review of the EDRP application.

What You'll Do

  • The Mental Health Department at the Phoenix VA is seeking a psychologist for their Community Living Center (CLC) The psychologist will function as a full member of the Mental Health Medical Staff and serve as the primary psychologist for the CLC.
  • This individual will provide ongoing consultation services to other team members.

  • Onboarding tasks may continue after starting, with HR ensuring timely completion for a smooth transition into VA service.
  • If selected, applicants should be prepared to come onboard within 30 days of the announcement closing.

Requirements
