The Program Analyst works within the Physical Integrated Medicine Service (PIMS) of the Ralph H. Johnson VA Medical Center in Charleston, SC. This position analyzes and evaluates clinic operations (including utilization, productivity, and bookability) and works collaboratively within a self-directed team to accomplish the program goals within mandated time frames.
What You'll Do
- →Develops and presents statistical reports, including data visualization (i.e., spreadsheets, PowerPoint, charts and graphs), to support decision-making by leadership and staff.
- →Analyzes and reports performance metrics to ensure compliance with national standards on wait times, consult management, encounter tracking, bookability, and productivity for all sections within PIMS.
- →Utilizes open slot reports and clinic grid analysis to identify scheduling gaps/trends and provide data-driven recommendations to staff to improve access and reduce wait times.
- →Assists with the Hearing Conservation Program by reviewing when mandated hearing tests are due and need to be scheduled, including initial and follow-up tests.
- →Devises and modifies methods and procedures that significantly and consistently affect the accomplishment of the mission of the service line and other clinical programs.
- →Resolves and improves provider workload and productivity reporting issues for each section under PIMS.
- →Enters new clinic requests for all providers within PIMS for completion with clinical profilers to the clinic grid, ensures they are correct, and modifies and cancels clinics as needed.
- →Assists in identifying end-user educational requirements and training needs and examines the need for improvement throughout the service by pulling reports in TMS and notifying all PIMS staff of upcoming mandatory learning needs.
- →Performs other duties as assigned.
- →Work Schedule: Full-time, 7:30 am - 4 pm.
- →Work schedule is subject to change based on agency need.
