You will serve as a Program Analyst (Data Analyst) for the Center for Minority Veterans (CMV). CMV serves in an advisory role to the Secretary on the adoption and implementation of policies and programs affecting minority Veterans. Your main objective is to perform data collection and analysis from all available resources and data repositories to provide informed data analysis reports on programs and activities on national and international levels to increase the utilization of VA benefits.
What You'll Do
- →Analyze and evaluate research in order to advise CMV leadership of the effectiveness of Veteran's programs and services.
- →Participate in the strategic planning process, in an advisory capacity to CMV leadership, to ensure that CMV goals, objectives and initiatives align with the VA strategic plan.
- →Collect and summarize input from specialized groups or individuals through surveys and prepare reports to management on the perception of the agency programs.
- →Research and analyze updated information on minority Veterans statistics to prepare quarterly reports on several identified topics.
- →Manage and track new and existing research concerning minority Veteran's health, utilization of VA benefits and services, CMV projects, tasks and other actions items.
- →Serve as the CMV representative to VA's Center for Health Equity Research and Promotion (CHERP), Health Equity Coalition, Data Governance Council, and other administrative councils, working groups and teams.
- →Attend conferences, workshops, and other events as the CMV representative.
