About the Role
This is a Direct Hire Authority (DHA) solicitation utilizing the DHA for Department of the Defense Prevention Workforce Positions to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to positions in the competitive service. About the Position: Serve as the Prevention Specialist responsible for the planning and evaluation of prevention activities (policies, programs, and practices), training, education and outreach for integrated primary prevention.
What You'll Do
- →Conduct environmental scans and needs assessments in support of the development of comprehensive integrated primary prevention (CIPP) plans.
- →Support senior prevention specialist with data-informed actions, prevention methodologies, assessment and prevention training.
- →Identify efficiencies in primary prevention development and delivery through outcome evaluation plans and other evaluation methodologies.
- →Utilize professional knowledge to support the command's integrated prevention efforts to include planning, implementation and evaluation of outcomes against at least two specific harmful behaviors.
